The Schmidt Hammer — also known as a rebound hammer or concrete test hammer — is the industry-standard tool for non-destructive in-situ assessment of concrete compressive strength. The spring-loaded plunger fires against the concrete surface and the rebound value is read directly from the scale, then cross-referenced against standard conversion charts to estimate compressive strength. Conforms to EN 12504-2. Suitable for testing concrete slabs, columns, walls, and precast elements. Compact and lightweight — fits in a site bag. Includes carrying case, calibration anvil, and conversion chart. Typical applications include assessing concrete strength before loading or demolition, quality control during construction, and structural assessment of existing structures.
