The Geo Site Supply 10kg Dynamic Cone Penetration (DCP) Test Kit is designed for site investigation in stiffer soils and more demanding subgrade conditions where the standard 8kg hammer is insufficient. The 10kg drop hammer drives a replaceable steel cone into the ground and the penetration per blow is converted to a DCPI correlating to CBR values and subgrade strength. Conforms to BS 1377 Part 9. Features include replaceable stainless steel cone tip, extension rods for deeper investigation, robust powder-coated steel construction, and breakdown design for transport. Used for subgrade and sub-base bearing capacity assessment, road construction quality control, and earthworks investigation. Also available: 8kg DCP kit.
