The Geo Site Supply 8kg Dynamic Cone Penetration (DCP) Test Kit is a robust, field-ready instrument for in-situ assessment of subgrade and subsoil bearing capacity. The 8kg drop hammer drives a cone tip into the ground and the blows per 10mm or 25mm penetration is recorded as the DCPI (Dynamic Cone Penetrometer Index), correlating directly to CBR (California Bearing Ratio) values. Conforms to BS 1377 Part 9. Features include replaceable stainless steel cone tip, extension rods for greater depth, durable powder-coated steel construction, extraction handle, and compact breakdown for transport. Used for subgrade assessment for road and pavement construction, earthworks quality control, and rapid CBR estimation. Also available: 10kg DCP kit.
