Green Boom Oil-Only Absorbent Pillows – Large (Pack of 10)

£374.99 GBP

Green Boom Oil-Only Large Absorbent Pillows are filled sorbent pillows for soaking up pooled fuel and oil and for placing under persistent leaks. Made from biodegradable, plant-based material, they absorb hydrocarbons while repelling water.

The large size gives high capacity for persistent leaks and larger spills. Pillows hold more liquid than pads, making them ideal for sitting under a dripping engine or hydraulic connection on site.

Key Features

Pack of 10 pillows
Large size
High capacity for pooled liquids and persistent leaks
Oil-only — absorbs fuels, oils and hydrocarbons while repelling water
Made from biodegradable, plant-based sorbent material
Suitable for use on land and on water

Typical Applications

Placing under leaking engines, hoses and fittings
Soaking up pooled fuel and oil
Drip control under generators and pumps
Restocking site spill kits

Why oil-only?

Oil-only (hydrophobic) sorbents pick up fuels, oils and hydrocarbons but repel water. That makes them the right choice for outdoor sites, wet ground, excavations and spills near drains or watercourses, where a universal sorbent would quickly become saturated with rainwater and lose its capacity.

Important Information

Oil-only sorbents are designed for hydrocarbons and are not suitable for acids, alkalis or aggressive chemicals. Used sorbents should be bagged and disposed of in line with your site waste management procedures and applicable regulations. For general chemical spills, see our Chemical Spill Absorbent Disposal Kit.
