The Green Boom Oil-Only Medium Industrial Spill Kit provides 215 litres of absorbency for major hydrocarbon spill response on large construction, infrastructure and wind farm projects. Biodegradable, plant-based sorbents absorb fuels, oils and hydraulic fluid while repelling water.
Designed as a main site spill station, it suits fuel storage areas, plant depots and large compounds where a significant release from a bowser, tank or heavy plant must be contained quickly.

Why oil-only?
Oil-only (hydrophobic) sorbents pick up fuels, oils and hydrocarbons but repel water. That makes them the right choice for outdoor sites, wet ground, excavations and spills near drains or watercourses, where a universal sorbent would quickly become saturated with rainwater and lose its capacity.
Important Information
Oil-only sorbents are designed for hydrocarbons and are not suitable for acids, alkalis or aggressive chemicals. Used sorbents should be bagged and disposed of in line with your site waste management procedures and applicable regulations.
