The Green Boom Oil-Only Medium Spill Kit provides 50 litres of absorbency for fuel, oil and hydraulic fluid spills on construction and site investigation projects. Biodegradable, plant-based sorbents absorb hydrocarbons while repelling water, making the kit well suited to open sites, wet ground and work near drains or watercourses.
Sized for a site compound, welfare unit or plant refuelling area, the kit gives a full first response to the most common site spills — from a split hydraulic hose on an excavator to a leaking fuel bowser.

Why oil-only?
Oil-only (hydrophobic) sorbents pick up fuels, oils and hydrocarbons but repel water. That makes them the right choice for outdoor sites, wet ground, excavations and spills near drains or watercourses, where a universal sorbent would quickly become saturated with rainwater and lose its capacity.
Important Information
Oil-only sorbents are designed for hydrocarbons and are not suitable for acids, alkalis or aggressive chemicals. Used sorbents should be bagged and disposed of in line with your site waste management procedures and applicable regulations.
